Maybe it is from my ancestors, or just a need that has been unmet. All I know is I am Addicted to travel in all its forms. Whether it is just a dream, or implanting that dream in another. (to all those I have shared this addiction with, I wish I were sorry, but I'm not. Your probably better this way). Mother thinks its a means of running away, and maybe it is. As a child I never got further then a couple houses down before I decided running away wasn't worth it. So in my later years, as I realize all the "adult" things to run away from, I have finally seized the opportunity. Blah Blah Blah enough about all that. I have been several places and have been asked multiple times if I keep a blog. So here is my first attempt! No laughing AT me, you may laugh WITH me however, in fact that is very welcomed and encouraged. So this summer (as in just a few months) I am headed to.... (drum roll please!!!)
INDIA to volunteer as a humanitarian. India is one of my biggest dreams (right next to visiting all 7 continents, so kind of a big deal). They have such a rich culture, full of life and color. I am so so so excited to see and experience it first hand. I am headed over with
Help International, a humanitarian group from Provo, UT. (check it out, and if you want to donate (which I would be so grateful for, as the program cost is $3,350 plus airfare! Yikes) their is a button up top, click on it and make sure to choose "support a volunteer" and then MY NAME under the heading "I want my donation to be dedicated", any amount even $5 helps so much, no pressure though, I will still love all of you!)
